I'm just your average, everyday, divorced 38 year old girl -- overweight, tragically unhip,
and trying to make a life for myself. I live with two furry beasts, Dave and Abby, whose
feline mission in life is to choke me with their fur. Nothing special.
Wednesday afternoon. I have been very remiss in my posting (so what's new about that, Denise?) and am here to profess my sorrow and renewed commitment. OK, that's not really true, but I am here to do a little updating.
We (TCB and I) arrived safely in San Francisco on Monday afternoon and were met at the airport by his mother. We spent some time at her house before hopping on BART (the public transport system here) to arrive at the lovely Fairmont Hotel, our home until Thursday afternoon. We've done cocktail receptions, meet and greets, and I've been in conferences since yesterday morning, so it's just another week on the road for me. Except.
Except that it's San Francisco. Except that I'm here with TCB. Except that The City's never been more beautiful or the weather so perfect. The picture above was taken (with my cell phone) from our room on the 10th floor of the hotel and that's our view. Can you believe it? Life really is great!
Alrighty, must run so that I can get to the next conference without having to walk in late - hate that!!! More tomorrow night after we're home.
